Penn State College of Medicine
Penn State College of Medicine reached out to Colortech to create a logo and branding guide for a new program. The Continuing Education Unit series is titled Joining Forces, Empowering Voices. This is a collaborative approach to supporting adults using high-tech AAC. The program involves professional collaboration, in which speech language pathologists and board certified behavior specialists can work together to support patients and clients. These patients are typically adults with autism with more severe symptoms and limited vocal communication.People who cannot use their voice to communicate can push buttons of pictures or words/letters to have a tablet device “speak” for them.
The new logo symbolizes one of these devices, with the speech bubbles behind it demonstrating what it does. View the accompanying flyer as well that explains the main goals of the program and some series details. These include live monthly webinars and how recordings are available after each event.
This program created by Penn State College of Medicine ran through September 2024 through May 2025. Our creative department was honored to get to be a part of this emerging technology that benefits a population in need.
